Advanced Reader Copy (ARC) Application

Apply to become important to the work.

This application helps place your reader signal where it may be most useful: ARC Fellowship, Reader Pool, future project invitations, archive openings, or reader-access materials.

You do not need publishing experience to apply. CWADM needs different kinds of serious readers: emotional readers, literary readers, genre readers, food and hospitality readers, tactical readers, skeptics in good faith, and people who notice when a scene feels false.

Before applying, you may want to review the Reading Room orientation.

Reader Signal Intake

The application is part fit, part feedback map.

Selected ARC Fellows may be asked to provide feedback roughly equivalent to a focused 1–2 hour roundtable discussion per assigned project or book. Other applicants may be placed into the Reader Pool, Signal List, future project invitations, or archive openings.

Keyboard note: radio questions use arrow keys or Space. Checkbox lists use Tab or Shift+Tab to move through choices, and Space to select or clear a choice.

CWADM may not read like a conventional genre novel. It may move slowly where weight matters, linger on food, hospitality, family systems, intimacy, and power, include violence with emotional consequence, and treat good and evil through morally complicated people.

The goal is not praise. The goal is reader signal.
